| 1)
We take at sea a small party of divers – in fact, four.
|
| 2)
We offer them a full (at least 200 bars) tank, double-checked
before going out to sea.
|
| 3)
We provide divers with pure air from a brand new, high-tech (Bauer)
compressor, kept in total efficiency and checked every year, with
filters (both active coal and molecular sieve) replaced every 50
hours of operation.
|
| 4)
We bring aboard personal equipment, protected by hard plastic
containers - diving equipment is expensive – to let divers
wear it just before diving and avoid all risk of overheating.
|
| 5)
We do not put pressure on divers – but give them the time to wear
their equipment and enter water with no hurry or stress.
|
| 6)
We pool divers together according to their licence and experience,
and let them carry out different dives according to their ability.
Diving is fun, so why risking tragedy ?
|
| 7)
We go to sea only when weather and sea conditions are suitable.
Our aim is to have fun, not to get seasickness.
|
| 8)
We rent brand new, high-quality equipment, Scubapro-Uwatec;
these are checked every year. Divers receive a Scuba Schools
International state-of-the-art training in terms of contents and
teaching methods. Videotapes are employed for theoretical modules,
but all practice is carried out at sea.
|
| 9)
We deliver the message of respecting the environment. The sea
and its creatures are friends to admire, help
and protect… not enemies to fight.
|
| 10)
We use special vehicles to transport tanks and equipment from the
diving premises to the boat, in order to avoid divers carrying them,
thus eliminating useless and harmful
physical stress before diving. The diving club staff have the duty
of washing out the equipment in separate pools, one of which for
“sensitive” items such as masks, snorkels and regulators.
Disinfectant is added to fresh water to meet the necessary hygiene
standards. Showers
and toilets are always well-maintained and clean.
